Here we have an old cock bird from John Womack.   He’s showing his age a bit with the slightly heavier body, long pendulous wattles and spreading comb BUT we can still see the qualities that made him a flock sire: an upright carriage, nice sweep to the back and a generous tail at a 45 degree angle.

An interesting thing to note about this male is that he does not have the faded sickle feathers you often see these days.
